Abstract

Abstract: 

This thesis project aims to assess water stress in cereal-growing areas of northeastern Algeria using remote sensing and satellite imagery. It uses the WEAP model integrated with the Mabia extension to simulate water availability and demand. Meteorological, hydrological and agricultural data are collected to calibrate the model. Experimental plots are used to analyze the physiological responses of crops to water stress. The study tests different irrigation strategies to mitigate the effects of drought.

الهدف من مشروع هذه الأطروحة هو تقييم الإجهاد المائي في مناطق زراعة الحبوب في شمال شرق الجزائر باستخدام الاستشعار عن بعد وصور الأقمار الصناعية. ويستخدم نموذج WEAP المدمج في ملحق مابيا لمحاكاة توافر المياه والطلب عليها. يتم جمع بيانات الأرصاد الجوية والبيانات الهيدرولوجية والزراعية لمعايرة النموذج. تُستخدم قطع الأراضي التجريبية لتحليل الاستجابات الفسيولوجية للمحاصيل للإجهاد المائي. تختبر الدراسة استراتيجيات ري مختلفة للتخفيف من آثار الجفاف.

Ce projet de thèse vise à évaluer le stress hydrique dans les zones céréalières du Nord-Est de l’Algérie à l’aide de la télédétection et de l’imagerie satellitaire. Il utilise le modèle WEAP intégré à l’extension Mabia pour simulerla disponibilité et la demande en eau. Des données météorologiques, hydrologiques et agricoles sont collectées pour calibrer ce modèle. Des parcelles expérimentales permettent d’analyser les réponses physiologiques des cultures au stress hydrique. L’étude teste différentes stratégies d’irrigation pour atténuerles effets de la sécheresse.
